Not only the hundreds and hundreds of hours often into one piece … planning, designing, altering, not to mention the actual creation, but to do it with several pieces. Then there’s the safe transport – round trip, show grooming, images, and regulations on showroom mobility.
For us, the hope of seeing many of your collections, which is 4 or more for prize consideration at the NTA, adds another layer to a show.
Coming together each year to strive for Distinguished Taxidermist, North American and National titles has its own challenges. Viewing a collection of such pieces, created by one individual can open the floodgates of admiration.
By popular suggestion, our NTA crystal medallions are being sculpted into metal medallions for 2025, offering a chance at a title not only for those of you who compete in one division but multiple divisions – a true collection challenge!
